Job
Description:
1. Conduct process studies and evaluate the
data to improve the utilization of resources by using the Lean tools.
2. Conduct time study, method study, cycle
time improvement activities and line balancing with TAKT time concept.
3. Facilitate implementation of new
projects.
4. Identify the MUDA in process and
eliminate by using Waste Elimination method.
5. Provide proper tools and fixture for
production to improve the quality of the output by using the holistic approach.
6. Calculate and forecast manpower
requirements and provide timely alerts to the concerned to ensure production as
per the plans.
7. Design the fixture based on the
requirements.
8. Drive, monitor and support Kaizen
initiative to ensure long-term sustainability and continuous improvements to
excel in the manufacturing processes.
9. Design an effective flow oriented layout
which has simple/clear material flow, less movement of recourses and safe
working conditions.
10. Facilitate and support new product
development requirements.
11. Implement improved concept Like FIFO, JIT
etc., in the warehouse for material storage and handling.
12. Daily, weekly and monthly data management
for shop-floor by using data management system (NICIM). Motivate and supervise
the people to manage data management properly and effectively.
13. Improve visual management system to create
transparent processes.
14. Ensure Compliance to all the laws and
regulations
15. Understand the Company’s policy and
procedures and adherence to the same without compromising.
16. Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of
lean manufacturing procedures, products, standards, technology, trade
practices, etc.
17. Handle any other responsibilities assigned
by the superior / management based on the organizational requirement.
Desired
Profile :
·
Minimum 3 years of Industrial Engineering experience in
engineering industry.
·
Hands-on experience in using lean tools.
·
Preferred qualification BE in Industrial Engineering &
Management
