Knowledge:
- Expert in Throughput (Discrete event) simulation software like Simul 8 (most preferred), Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, AutoMod, Delmia Quest, Witness.
- Proficient in any Object oriented programming laungages like Visual Basic.
- Good process knowledge related vehicle manufacturing or any other manufacturing lines.
- Knowledge of Theory of constraints & lean manufacturing principles.
- Basic knowledge on Autocad.

Responsibilities :
Perform simulation analysis for vehicle and powertrain manufacturing lines to Analyse throughput of the lines
Identify system bottlenecks & Suggest countermeasures to eliminate them
Optimize inventory, buffers & resources
Determine optimum batch sizes
Peform logistics simulation
Evaluate various “What-if” scenarios to analyse impact of different variables on sytem throughput Coordinate with Plant manufacturing engineers and senior leadership to gather the requirements, data and review the results of the analysis.
