Job Description:
Industrial DMU Engineer
As an Industrial DMU Engineer, you will be responsible for creating 3D Digital Mock-Ups of plants and prepare related methodology documentation and best practices to assist the Industrial teams from conceptual design through the finished industrial system. Additionally, assist in defining, developing and deploying these Industrial systems and digital twin capabilities in the frame of digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0.
Required skills and experience:
Experience with digital manufacturing tools and techniques on 3DExperience, Process Simulate, Plant simulation / Anylogic, for activities such as:
- Plant Layout Design, Tradeoff studies / Verification & Validation.
- 3D Flow / Kinematic simulations and assembly sequence. (Assembly Evaluation, Equipment design & simulation and clash analysis)
- Build Process and M-BOM definition. (Process Planning and Manufactured Item Definition)
- Preparing Work Instructions.
- Robotics simulations in DELMIA.
- Basics of Ergonomics studies and related modules in 3DExperience.
- Good to have: knowledgeware apps like template designer, engineering rules capture.
- Change and release process; experience in collaborative lifecycle management.
- Knowledge on working with 2D drawings and signing-off non-critical parts.
Experience in part, generative shape and assembly design modules in CATIA and data management in ENOVIA VPM are an added advantage to help build the engineering and resource data.
EDUCATION:
B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.E. in Mechanical / Industrial / Aeronautical Engineering.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:
General awareness of aircraft and its components. (Structures and systems)
Good understanding of engineering fundamentals of Lean manufacturing principles, CAD modelling, manufacturing and assembly concepts, operations research & management.
Basic knowledge of plant layout, supply chain and logistics.
Good to have: Basic knowledge of C / VBA.
